For years, we have warmly welcomed the interest of students in the STOLPERSTEINE project. Thanks to dedicated teachers and their students who contribute to the laying of STOLPERSTEINE locally with research and support for memorial events, the project continues to grow daily. As part of the Gunter Demnig Foundation, we are now trying to meet the ever-growing interest of students.
We would like to support initiators, teachers, and students in their work by providing advice and assistance based on our many years of pedagogical experience. For example, we can help you with research tips and planning aids for your lessons. We can also support you in advance with useful information for a successful supporting program for the planned installations and provide you with contacts who may accompany you directly on site or at your school during the project.
Please note, however: With sixteen federal states, the six possible school types contained therein, eight possible grade levels, five possible subjects (within which, among other things, the topic of National Socialism can be addressed), countless differently mixed learning groups as well as temporally different possibilities, and the selection between eleven victim groups that could be thematically approached in class, there is, of course, no ready-made concept for all cities and regions. The concept for your learning group will therefore be tailored specifically after consultation.
